Yesterday I asked Kalisha to draw a portrait of us based on this picture. She began drawing my mouth, then gave up and defaced the original photo instead. It's kind of funny.
Do chocolate-covered espresso beans really keep you awake? I decided to browse the Coffee Forums and see if the answer was out there. It was, and this is it: "You actually get more caffeine from the chocolate...it takes and average of 32 espresso beans to make a single espresso". So there you have it. I'll probably be able to eat these shits for awhile and kind of keep studying until I start to feel tired and my stomach starts to hurt. One thing I'm pretty sure of is this: these things cannot be good for your teeth.
At dinner last night I told Fisshie that I was starting a Blog and asked her what she would put in hers? She told me that she would post about daily encounters with people. She then suggested I should get a Livejournal.
The subject line of this post comes from a book called East-West Film Journal and discusses the films of Japanese director Mizoguchi Kenji. The quote refers to the two major lines of development of the artists in his films. I think that anyone who considers themself an artist can relate to the goal of attaining both of these measures in life.
